The University president signed a cooperation protocol with the Governor of Damietta In order to activate the role of the University in the development of the local community.
Prof.Dr./ Mamdouh Mohamed Ne'matullah, the acting president of Damietta University and Prof.Dr./ Ismail Abdel Hamid Taha, Governor of Damietta, signed a cooperation protocol between Damietta Governorate and Damietta University to activate the role of the university in all consultations, scientific studies and community initiatives as contributing in thoughts and visions deepening, widening the use of scientific expertise to achieve sustainable development at Damietta with the attendance of prof. Dr. / Elsayed Mohamed Da'dor, the Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development,prof. Dr. / Tarek Mohammed Abu Al-Maati, the Vice President for Education &Students Affairs and Eng./ Alaa Al-Deen Al-Sayed, the University General Secretary
The governor stressed that the university is the artistic tool of the governorate as it represents the society mind and scientific conscience in supporting its projects with researches, studies and scientific experiments for community development.
Prof.dr./ Mamdouh Ne’matallah, the acting president of the University, welcoming this protocol, explaining that through science we build our country.
The governor added that we will not give up presenting all forms of support to make Damietta University one of the most important Egyptian universities and even reach the prestigious position between the universities of Egypt and the world.
