Damietta University has achieved remarkable progress in ( URAP University Ranking by Academic Performance) The international classification of universities according to academic performance for the academic year 2023-2024, where Damietta University ranked 1297 globally and thus advanced 413 global positions over the academic year 2022-2023, which was then 1710. The URAP classification is based on collecting information from international bibliometric databases such as In cites. It uses data from 2,500 higher education institutions with the largest number of published articles. The final grade for each university depends on its performance according to several indicators. Only 2,000 universities worldwide are included in the report issued by the classification out of 2,500 global universities. This classification is based on research performance indicators that reflect the quality and number of research published in Q1Q2Q3, as well as the number of scientific citations by university employees published in the WOS database, the impact factor of those articles, as well as the volume of international participation in research.
