Today, Thursday, October 12, 2023, Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie Al-Metwally, President of Damietta University, witnessed the reception ceremony for new and old students at the Faculty of Nursing, which was organized by the College Administration, in the presence of Professor Dr. Wael Farouk Al-Taybani, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and Professor Dr. Nahed Khedr, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing. The ceremony began with the national anthem, followed by the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an, followed by the address of the Dean of the College and the Vice President of the University, in which they welcomed the new students and wished them a happy academic year. The address of the “University President” came in which he congratulated the students, welcoming them to the campus of Damietta University. The University President stressed during the ceremony that the student of the Faculty of Nursing is distinguished from other graduates by the fact that the job market awaits him, indicating that the university’s goal is to provide an appropriate educational environment for students to build a specialized citizen who serves his community. Calling on students to actively participate in student activities and families and in the activities of the community service and environmental development sector, taking into account adherence to university regulations and traditions.
