Signing a cooperation protocol between Damietta University and Al-Azhar College of Medicine hospitals

                Within the framework of the constant keenness to strengthen the bonds of cooperation between civil and governmental institutions for the benefit of society as a whole, and as part of community support, education, and the provision of medical services and health care. Today, Wednesday, September 20, 2023, Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie Al-Metwally, President of Damietta University, signed a cooperation protocol between the university and Al-Azhar University Hospitals, Damietta. This is to train honors students at the College of Nursing with the aim of improving and strengthening their scientific and practical skills alike, and practicing all nursing skills. This was in the presence of Professor Dr. Nahed Khedr, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing at Damietta University, Professor Dr. Rashid Mohammad Rashid, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Al-Azhar University in Damietta, Professor Dr. Fathy Salama, Vice Dean of the College for Education and Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Essam Taman, Vice Dean of the College for Postgraduate Studies, and Dr. Alaa Megahed, Deputy Director. Al-Azhar Hospital in Damietta. The signing of the protocol was also witnessed by Dr. El-Sayed Abd Al-Gawad, Undersecretary of the Health Directorate in Damietta. The protocol included that students will be trained in the hospital’s special and vital units. This comes within the framework of advancing mutual cooperation between the university and various bodies to exchange benefits and experiences in order to ensure the health of citizens and improve the quality of practical training for students.
