The University President inspects the readiness of the University Center for Professional Development

         Within the framework of the ongoing field tours conducted by Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie, President of the University. He visits the University Center for Professional Development today, January 17, 2024, accompanied by Professor Dr. Mohamed Shehab, Secretary-General of the University, to determine its readiness to begin providing its first free services to university students, whose training will begin next Sunday. During the visit, the president of the University gave a number of directions and advice to the center’s work team from In order to optimize the functioning of the center, The team members, led by Dr. Amir Rushdi, Director of the University Centers Project at the American University, reviewed the center’s work plan for the first quarter of 2024.

It was also discussed by Ms. Iman Ahmed Abu Al-Saad and Ms. Hend Ahmed Hussein, the Monitoring and Evaluation Team of the University Centers Project at the American University for Professional Development, explained the center’s objectives and discussed some important points that help the center evaluate its services to students in a distinctive way. It is worth noting that the center will begin providing its free services to Damietta University students by providing specialized technical training such as: Employment Skills Course (EST), Digital Marketing Training (DM), and Project Management (PM), Financial technologies, quality control (QC), marketing and supply chain management, human resources management (HR), business and sales technologies, English language, and other free training. The center also provides professional guidance services, which are concerned with providing workshops for students and graduates on how to write a CV, develop personal interview skills, and search for job opportunities. With the  provision of various employment opportunities, such as employment forums and fairs, providing advertisements for job opportunities/training opportunities, or through training within factories and companies and interactive meetings with business owners and companies, all of these services will be provided through a work team that has been excellently prepared through intensive courses and consists of The center’s work team includes:

At the end of the meeting, Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie, President of the University, thanked Dr. Amir Rushdi, “Director of the University Centers Project at the American University,” engineer Wafa Bakhit, “Deputy Director of the University Centers Project at the American University,” Professor Maha, “Executive Director of the University Centers Project for Professional Development at the American University,” and a work team.
