Today, Wednesday, September 6, 2023, in the University Council Hall in the General Administration Building, the University Council held its emergency session #  (199), headed by Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie Al-Metwally, Acting President of Damietta University, and the membership of the Vice-Presidents of the University and the Deans of the Colleges, and the Secretary-General of the University assumed the secretariat of the session. He began the Council session by stressing the necessity of Full commitment to the attendance and departure times set for all members of the university system. Then He moved to the Council’s topics. The university president directed to form a committee in each college to pass through the classrooms and make a report on their readiness to receive the new academic year
