Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie Al-Metwally, Acting President of Damietta University, participated in the inauguration of the thirteenth Universities Youth Week under the slogan “The New Republic is a Dream of a Homeland,” which is organized by Helwan University during the period from September 8-14, 2023. , which is held under the generous patronage of Professor Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, and in the presence of Professor Dr. Mohamad Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Professor Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports. Professor Dr. Mustafa Refaat, Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities, and Professor Dr. Al-Sayed Kandil, President of Helwan University, in addition to all the presidents of Egyptian universities, with the participation of 45 universities and higher institutes, and in the presence of Professor Dr. Wael Farouk Al-Taybani, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs. Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie, University President, was keen to meet with the university delegation participating in the week at Helwan University, and urged the participating students to make efforts and achieve advanced positions on behalf of Damietta University in the week’s activities and competitions. He wished the members of the delegation all the best and asked them to compete honorably, maintain the sportsmanship, and take care of their safety and the safety of their competitors from other universities.
