Today, Tuesday, December 19, 2023, the Council for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs held its 133rd session under the chairmanship of Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie El Metwally, President of Damietta University, and in the presence of the deans of the colleges for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs. His Excellency began the Council with his sincere congratulations to His Excellency President Abd Al Fattah El-Sisi as President of Egypt 2024-2030, praying to God Almighty to grant him success, direct his steps, and crown his efforts with success in completing the process of development and reconstruction to achieve the elevation of the nation. His Excellency stressed the importance of strengthening the community service affairs sector in colleges in developing the surrounding environment through communication with the internal and external community. The President of the University also honored Professor Adel Abd Al Rahman Al-Sayed Fayed, Director General of Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs and Supervisor of the Medical Care Fund for the University’s faculty and staff, for reaching retirement age and thanked him in appreciation for his effort and giving during the past years.
