Today, Monday, October 9, 2023, Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie Al-Metwally, President of Damietta University, welcomed Representative Professor Dr. Osama Al-Abd, member of the Religious Committee in the House of Representatives, Secretary-General of the Association of Islamic Universities and former President of Al-Azhar University, as part of a visit to extend congratulations on the issuance of the Republican Decree on the occasion of His Excellency becoming President. For the university, wishing him success in performing his duties in serving the university and the people of the governorate. During the meeting, they discussed several topics that serve the people of Damietta Governorate, within the framework of ongoing cooperation between the university, state institutions, various bodies, and their leaders and symbols. The meeting was attended by Professor Dr. Mohamad Heikal, assistant professor at the College of Education, and member of the Board of Trustees of New Damietta City.
