Today, Sunday, September 24, 2023, Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie Al-Metwally, President of the University, signed a contract to transfer ownership of Al-Ghali University Hospital, which was presented as a donation from Professor Mohamad Al-Ghali and Engineer Ali Al-Ghali, whose headquarters is in the city of Al-Shuara’ in Damietta Governorate. This took place at the Shata Real Estate Registration Mission, in the presence of Dr. Ahmed Lashin and Dr. Mohamad Yassin, the legal members of the University President, and Professor Mohamad Al-Gharib, Director of the Real Estate Registration Mission at the Shata Court of First Instance. It is worth noting that the donation was approved in accordance with the Prime Minister’s Decision No. (1438) of 2022, as the hospital was established on an area of ????more than 600 square meters and consists of 11 floors, with a value of one hundred million pounds, and specialized units in specialties will be equipped. The following medical: Kidney diseases, liver diseases, the digestive system, thoracic and bone diseases, diagnostic and therapeutic catheterization units for cardiovascular diseases, specialized units in treating diabetes and dialysis, and a training and qualification center for doctors to use endoscopes in all medical specialties, to improve the health system and to serve the educational process and the Damietta community.
