Today, January 18, 2024, Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie Al-Metwally welcomed Eng. Mohamad Khalafallah, Head of the New Damietta City Authority, to inspect the outpatient clinics building of the University Hospital, in the presence of Professor Dr. Bassem Salama Al-Deek, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Professor Dr. Al-Mandouh Hussein Basila, Head of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department. Faculty of Medicine and Director of Outpatient Clinics. At the beginning of the meeting, the President of the University welcomed Mr. Engineer Mohamed Khalfallah, praising the agency’s role in the development process witnessed by the New Damietta City at all levels. Then he accompanied his Excellency on a field tour to inspect and follow up on the final stages of the internal and external finishing works of the outpatient clinics building. For his part, the head of the agency appreciated the role played by the university in serving the community, directing those charged with preparing and finishing the building to implement the university president’s comments on the level of finishing in a manner appropriate for citizens deserving of services and to accelerate the implementation rates for handing over the clinics building. Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie indicated during their inspection of the examination ticket reservation headquarters that the electronic system for booking tickets for outpatient clinics will be activated online through a digital application as part of the university’s efforts to raise the level of medical service provided to citizens and facilitate access to it.
