Within the framework of the university’s keenness, headed by Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie Al-Metwally, to develop the international student system and achieve academic excellence, he met today, January 21, 2024, with the marketing committee for educational programs, research centers, and other elements of excellence at the university, with the membership of Professor Dr. Wael Abd El Kader, Dean of the College of Computers and Artificial Intelligence, and Professor Dr. Ahmed Abd Al-Fattah Al-Zeky, Professor and Head of the Department of Fundamentals of Education at the College of Education Dr. Amany Al-Dyasty, assistant professor in the English Department at the College of Arts, Dr. Basma Shata, assistant professor in the Zoology Department at the College of Science, and Dr. Ahmed Zayed, lecturer in the Industrial Design Department at the College of Applied Arts, in order to develop a proposed vision for increasing the number of incoming students at the university and enhancing ways to attract them, which has become one of the priorities. The state for its role in achieving Egypt’s Vision 2030. The President of the University discussed the basic frameworks of mechanisms for attracting international students and the necessity of developing a systematic plan for marketing, providing a distinguished and stimulating educational environment for them, and developing and strengthening cultural relations and international cooperation through cultural offices, pointing to the university’s preparations to provide all means of academic support to international students to be ambassadors for the university after returning to their homelands. His Excellency also noted the imminent opening of the Expatriates Club at the university and the launch of the first Forum for Expatriates (New Visions).
