Today, Sunday, November 5, 2023, Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie Al-Metwally, President of Damietta University, witnessed the opening activities of training workshops entitled “Using the Egyptian Knowledge Bank’s Information Resources” for the faculty members, the supporting staff, and researchers at the university, which are organized by the university’s digital library in cooperation with the Supreme Council of Universities and the Egyptian knowledge Bank. Experts from the Egyptian Knowledge Bank will lecture in it, in cooperation with success partners from international publishing and production houses, and the training workshops will continue over two days, November 5 and 6, 2023. The President of the University emphasized that the aim of organizing this training course is to introduce the largest number of faculty members and researchers to the services provided by the Egyptian Knowledge Bank to them and to help them obtain information quickly and easily in order to contribute to facilitating it for researchers, without incurring the hardship of travel and transportation, while providing a huge amount of information. Information in all specialties from reliable sources, as part of a plan to advance the process of sustainable development, specialized knowledge, and communication for scientific progress in Egypt. This came in the presence of Professor Dr. Wael Abd Al Kader, Dean of the College of Computers and Artificial Intelligence, Dr. Abeer Mohammad Abbas, Director of the Digital Library Project at the University, and the distinguished faculty members, assistant staff, and researchers at the University.
