At the beginning of the meeting, the University President welcomed the Libyan delegation, stressing Damietta University’s keenness to consolidate cooperation with the State of Libya in various scientific and cultural fields. He pointed out the importance of cooperation between the attaché and the university to establish partnerships and twinning with Libyan universities to organize student and faculty exchange and cooperation in scientific research between the two countries. The university president also reviewed the educational services provided by the university, the specializations and academic programs that qualify graduates for the labor market locally and internationally, as well as the university’s technological capabilities for the digital transformation of educational services for students. He also reviewed the university’s experiences. The Libyan Cultural Attaché praised the distinguished level of Damietta University, stressing the Libyan Republic’s keenness on joint cooperation with Egyptian universities in general and Damietta University in particular in the areas of educational programs and joint research projects in various academic disciplines. Dr. Ali Abdullah Al-Fatni, the Libyan researcher at the Faculty of Arts, representing the international students from Libya, also addressed a speech expressing his gratitude to Damietta University, in which he praised, “I am pleased to be one of the international students at Damietta University because of the diversity it enjoys in its faculties, its scientific and literary specializations, and its journals that have taken It has been ranked locally and internationally, and the elite faculty members it contains, led by the wise leadership and management, His Excellency Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie, President of the University, for the role he provides for further impetus and advancement to achieve the highest levels of excellence for our esteemed university. Then, His Excellency directed the Libyan delegation on a tour inside the city of New Damietta and New Damietta Beach.
